SACC-LA is proud to announce that this year’s Eliason Merit Award goes to the world famous Swedish movie star and action hero Dolph Lundgren, star of over 40 movies since his breakthrough in “Rocky IV” and the James Bond feature “A View to a Kill”. His most recent films include the successful Sylvester Stallone produced “The Expendables”
The Eliason Merit Award is an exclusive red carpet event honoring Swedes that have contributed significantly towards strengthening Swedish-Amerian relations. This year we are celebrating its 25th anniversary and it will be a spectacular evening. We will take you back to the era when film had its breakthrough by sharing an evening at the historic film studio “The Lot” with you. Since the 1920′s, “The Lot” has been the workplace for many legendary Hollywood stars such as Charlie Chaplin, Elizabeth Taylor, and Frank Sinatra (Sinatra's favorite bungalow is still named after him). The old fashioned Hollywood atmosphere is still present at “The Lot,” which has inspired the 1920′s theme for this year’s Eliason Merit Award.
The Award dinner includes a cocktail reception, a delicious three-course dinner, fabulous entertainment, live performances and of course the prestigious Award ceremony.
Tickets: $169. If you want to buy a table - $159 each. Visit http://www.sacc-la.org/?page_id=4363 to purchase your ticket or table.
