House of Sweden's Midsummer Celebration

The House of Sweden in San Diego's beautiful Balboa Park invites Swedes, Swedish-Americans and the public to join the fun.

Come early to help decorate the Maypole and the cottage with greenery and flowers. Please wear Swedish costumes to parade through Balboa Park. House of Sweden Princess Brianna will lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Everyone will sing national anthems. The Balboa Park dancers will follow. A Swedish choir directed by Silja Björklund and the “Trallande Jäntor” choir will entertain. The finale will be dancing around the Maypole with Ylva Elias.
