Lindsborg Midsummer Festival

A national Swedish holiday celebrated with Swedish food, music, dancing, art, games and the raising of the Midsommarstång (Midsummer Pole).

Lindsborg is proud to host this fun-filled, family oriented Swedish-American festival in our beautiful south park known as Riverside Park. There will be live entertainment throughout the day, including a full slate of children’s activities.

Create a blomkran, (crown of flowers) one of the most important parts of the festival with the Lindsborg Arts Council. The Lindsborg Swedish Folk Dancers and the Folksdanslag will perform Scandinavian dances in Swedish costumes. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to join in the dancing, especially around the Maypole in Heritage Square! Food vendors will provide yummy treats and again this year, a beer garden will be available! Arts and craft vendors will be on hand as well.
